ZOVIRAX Cream is flexible and can be used at any stage of a cold sore. And yes, if you have a full-blown cold sore, you should use ZOVIRAX Cream during that time too.

Clean Your Hands Thoroughly And Don't Share Towels

If you apply ZOVIRAX Cream using your finger, be sure to wash and dry your hands thoroughly. If you dry them with a towel, be sure that you are the only person using that towel. Do not share the towel with anyone else. You may want to consider using paper towels since you can throw them out immediately after drying your hands.
